The Duke of Earl was a favorite song in spring, 1962, my last year in high school. In more recent years, other groups have done a fine job with the same song.  I recently found the Darts turned in a fine performance.  They were a British group, popular in the late 1970s and early 1980s.  They all seem happy especially the lead singer.

When I walk through this world, nothing can stop the Duke of Earl.
