People are beaten down from limiting his DT’s latest outrages, invading another country, murdering people in fishing boats and getting richer every day.
I want everybody to ask for the Sun, the Moon, the stars and half the planet. Offer a comprehensive program that you will see in the attachment. Nickle and dime reforms here and there will only delay our doom.
The Oxfam organization tells us that one hundred individuals have the same wealth as the lower four billion. There is plenty of money to end poverty, reverse global warming and make war an unpleasant memory.
Pope Leo has announced that he wants to end war everywhere forever. He needs to make a detailed statement that demand specific actions. Give him a hand with the attached 30 page draft encyclical which is also a platform for political parties everywhere
The same draft encyclical offers environmental, anti-poverty and war abolition goals. Even better there is hope for a better world.
The Allied nations transformed their societies to produce fighter aircraft, tanks, artillery, landing craft and everything else to bring military victory over the Axis Powers. There was a widespread feeling that they were seeking more than military victory. They were looking for a better world. They achieved some important changes in the United Nations, the Marshall Plan, the Bretton Woods Agreement, the General Treaty on Trade and Tariffs and anti-poverty programs.
Now it is our turn to step up to the plate to reverse global warming, end poverty forever and make war a memory. Remembering Winston Churchill, everyone will walk in broad sunlit uplands.
I ask you to send this draft encyclical to Pope Leo.

I am Congressman Al Green representing the 9th Congressional District in Houston. A gentleman in my congressional district has written a 30 page draft encyclical that you will see attached. The author, Edward T. O’Rourke, Jr. was in the Saint Thomas High School 1962 class. He was preparing to be a priest with the Basilian Fathers from August 2, 1963 to May 26, 1966. He started his career as a high school teacher in Houston, Austin, Barranquilla and Medellin, Colombia.
He later changed careers and became a certified public accountant.
What Mr. O’Rourke and I ask is a detailed roadmap telling the world how to transform our societies to reverse global warming, end poverty forever and make war a memory. The detailed draft encyclical offers a start for transforming our society. May your encyclical be a wakeup call. May the world’s hopeful and oppressed join you at the barricades.

“We renounce war as an instrument for narrow national interests and proclaim that military action must be seen only as a last resort in extreme situations, not a normal instrument of national policy,” said the cardinals, each of whom were staunch allies of Pope Francis and were present at the conclave that elected Leo. “We seek a foreign policy that respects and advances the right to human life, religious liberty, and the enhancement of human dignity throughout the world, especially through economic assistance.”
