I ask you to structure a vision showing how you want the world to be. I am ask to you for fact checking and observations. In late January, I will incorporate all the new material. I will be send this out to my congressman, the two senators, my state rep and my state senator and everybody else.
Times are tough but we can recover just like the Allies did in World War Two.
Spring, 1942 was the hardest time in the war for the Allies. The Axis Powers were advancing on every front. The Allies, however, did not lose heart. They started achieving significant defensive victories at Midway, El Alamein, Stalingrad and Guadalcanal. In February, 1943, it was a long way from Stalingrad to Berlin and from Guadalcanal to Tokyo but they had to start from somewhere.
During the Second World War people in the Allied nations were looking for a better world, not just military victory. They looked at the conditions that lead to the war, the Great Depression and the tariffs which deepened and prolonged the terrible downturn. They generated the Bretton Woods Agreement, the United Nations, the World Bank, the General Agreement on Trade and Tariffs and later the Marshall Plan.
The only way for life on our planet is survive is achieving a better world for everybody. This means that every family will have access to:
a safe neighborhood,
food,
the Internet,
education,
running water,
electricity,
clean water, clean air and uncontaminated soil.
Please examine the attached commentary.
Sincerely,
Ed
