Artificial intelligence is a big deal. It is like fire, gunpowder, the printing press, the internal combustion engine and the computers. Bernie Sanders in 15 minutes gives a broad outline.
If we ignore AI, the richest people on the planet will design everything for their own profit. We have the greatest wealth inequality in human history. In the US, three men have as much wealth as 160 million. The top 1% have a 30% wealth share. The bottom 50% have 2.5% of everything.
Since they totally ignore global warming, I cannot see the One Percent caring about anybody but themselves.
