One of the prettiest observation points in the world is the Abbey Overlook in Atchison, Kansas. About 150 feet below is the River Road, the Missouri River and the valley that is four miles wide.
During the year, the river was four miles wide. When Silvia and I visited in October, I could see many lakes that had been fine crop land.
